Inspiration: Tempus II by Philip Heron

Extreme slow motion shot on the Photron SA1.1

The shot of the guy karate chopping the cinder block looks incredible painful.

New Photos

I had the chance to go on a drive through the country on the weekend, it was a foggy rainy day but this still presented some interesting photo opportunities.

Fields of Canola

The smell from the Canola was incredible.

Inspiration: Brain Farm Cinema Phantom Camera Reel

I haven't done an inspiration post in a long time mostly due to lack of time to search the internet for amazing clips to feature.

This one was just so amazing that I had to make the time to feature it. So check it out, I will let the visuals speak for themselves.

Five Second Project “Countdown”

Here is my entry for the Five Second Project "Countdown"

I modeled the bombs in Cinema 4D and composited them in After Effects. The clouds are made with Particular and the lens flares of course is Optical Flares.

This was a fun project for me as I have never modeled anything in Cinema before.

Geisha Photoshoot

_MG_1401 Instant Hotness

I did a quick shoot with a friend of mine a couple months ago and finally got around to editing the images. I used a fairly new lens that I got last summer but I had never used it for portrait photography before. The lens is a 70mm sigma f2.8 which is a macro lens but it can be used for pretty much anything.
I was really impressed because the photos turned out incredibly sharp as compared to the stock lens that the camera came with. Needless to say I didn't have to sharpen the image at all.
